Dr. Michael Scott

Dr. Michael Scott was born in Falcon, Colorado. He attended East High School in Denver, Colorado and graduated in 1958. He continued his academic studies at Colorado State University where he graduated in 1964 with two undergraduate degrees. He then attended the Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 1969. He served in the United States Air Force from 1969 - 1979; his last assigned duty was as Officer in Charge of the Military Working Dog Referral Center for Europe in Ramstein, Germany.

Dr. Jason Scott

Dr. Jason Scott, Dr. Michael Scott's youngest son, has been exposed to Veterinary Medicine all of his life, and actually began working at Potomac Animal Hospital when he was 13 years old. He completed his undergraduate and professional studies at Colorado State University graduating in 1999. His father, Dr. Michael Scott, who had graduated 30 years earlier to the day in 1969, hooded him during his graduation ceremony. His areas of interest include soft tissue surgery and internal medicine, and his practice philosophy centers around compassionate care and quality of life. Dr. Scott and his wife Kirsten, enjoy trying to keep up with their three children, Kildee, Indianola and Fletcher.

Dr. Christine Morrow

Dr. Christine Morrow was born and raised in upstate New York. Since she was 5 years old, she knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. She followed that desire to Cornell University where she received an undergraduate degree in Animal Sciences and a doctoral degree in Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2010. She furthered her training by completing a rotating small animal internship at the nearby VCA/VRA Animal Hospital. After falling in love with the DC area, she decided to join Potomac Animal Hospital to establish a career as a general practioner.  Her professional interests include emergency medicine, ultrasonography and internal medicine - with an emphasis on client education and compassionate care.

Dr. Elizabeth Mooberry

Dr. Elizabeth Mooberry is glad to be joining the Potomac Animal Hospital family! She was raised in Kailua, Hawaii and later in San Antonio, Texas. Since a 6th grade trip to the zoo, she has known that veterinary medicine was for her. Her undergraduate degree was obtained at Grinnell College in Iowa. She followed that with a doctoral degree from Texas A&M University, graduating in 2014. Since obtaining her degree, she has been working as a small animal practitioner. Her areas of interest include dentistry, dermatology, and client education. In her free time, Dr. Mooberry enjoys exploring the city and surrounding areas.
